FAQ

Common questions

Early access, member alerts, plans and rules, payments, and how SlabHive runs.

What is SlabHive?

Gym software that books classes and spots at-risk members before they quit. Schedule, memberships and payments live in one place, plans carry their own rules, and members book, move and cancel from a page with your gym’s name, logo and colour. Alerts tell you who is slipping away and when to reach out.

What kind of gyms is it for?

Gyms that sell recurring memberships and class packs: functional fitness and strength studios, open gyms, yoga and pilates, martial arts, HIIT and boot camps. If members book classes and you want them to keep coming back, it fits.

What does early access mean?

SlabHive is new. You can sign up today, and we build the next features with the gyms that use it. Things will change, and we would rather hear what is missing than guess.

What does it cost?

Nothing during early access. We will tell you well before that changes.

Do my members pay through SlabHive?

No. SlabHive tracks payments, it does not process them. You record cash, card or a bank transfer in a couple of clicks, every billing period shows as due, paid or waived, and the total owed is always on screen. Nothing is forced online.

How do plans and rules work?

A plan can be weekly, a pack or unlimited, with per-week and per-day limits, allowed weekdays, and which classes and gyms it covers. When a booking would break a rule, it is refused, so nobody has to remember or enforce it by hand.

Can I change a member’s plan in the middle of a period?

Yes. SlabHive shows what the change affects before you confirm it, including the credit for the unused part of the current period, and you can undo it.

Can I run more than one gym?

Yes. One organization can have several gyms. A plan can be valid at one gym or at all of them, and staff permissions are set per gym.

Can my coaches and front desk use it?

Yes. Give each person exactly the permissions they need, per gym. Every class time can have a coach assigned, and an activity log shows who changed what, and when.

What do members see?

A booking page with your gym’s name, logo and colour. They book, move and cancel their own sessions, and see how many reschedules they have left. You decide the limits.

How do I find out who is about to quit?

SlabHive watches cancellations, attendance and overdue payments. You get alerts such as a third cancellation in 14 days, or a member who has not trained for two weeks, and each member gets a rating with the plain reasons behind it. You see them by name, while there is still time to reach out.

Do I need to install anything?

No. SlabHive runs in the browser on your computer or phone. Add your gym, your classes and their weekly hours, set up your plans and add your members. Most gyms can be up and running in an afternoon.
